Installed on Saturday to replace the older type fixtures with Mercury bulbs. This security light was lightweight (plastic with LEDs). Important for hubby who puts his extension ladder in the bucket of the tractor to reach this pole location. It is about 28’ high.

It looked ridiculous at first because it was so small compared to the fixture it replaced. It fit on the existing arm/hanger from the old fixture by removing the plate on the mounting bracket of the new fixture. Note: if you don’t have an existing extension arm - this fixture doesn’t come with one and that is a separate purchase. We had ones from the old fixture so we were able to save on purchasing new ones.

Light went up and hubby put his thumb over the dusk-to-dawn sensor (small sensor on the front of the light) and light came on. So, all good.

Light illuminated at dusk as designed and was very bright. Will post amended review if the thing craps out before it’s time. But for now - looks great (if not ridiculously small) and does its job. You can’t beat the price point and electricity savings on an LED. We went ahead and installed the other two (3 total) on the other poles to give lightning to the driveway, barn and house. All worked and illuminate a nice area.

Thankfully, this one has a plug. I accidentally ordered one in the past that didn't and was made to be hardwired. None of these bay lights ever seem to have a longer power cord than five feet though. So this means that you have to have an outlet very close to it, or some other extension cord or hardwired solution. There is no power switch on it, so that's a downside, but there are all sorts of other solutions from Alexa-type power adapters to short extension cords with a switch on it that you can use. It's got a metal housing, which is good because these do get hot. It's low profile, so you can fit it into tight spaces, but use care that it's still got room to breathe so it doesn't overheat and cause a fire hazard. At 21,000 lumens, it's plenty bright. And the price is fair. It's a pretty good light.

These lights are well made, weatherproof and made of solid materials. If you've ever installed a sconce or any type of wall mounted light fixtures you will find this straight forward and easy to install. If not, it may take you some practice as these need to be hard wired rather than plugged in. Read the included instructions, find a sconce/exterior light fixture installation video and if you can use a screw driver you should be fine. Rule number one - turn off the circuit breaker to the outlet you are wiring these up to. The sensor works great and they effortlessly come on once the sun goes down and turn off when the sun comes up just as they are supposed to. Brightly light up a big area and would make great security lights. Honestly for the pair, they are more than worth the price and with quality construction and LEDs, they should provide many years of cost effective and maintenance free service.

This is a very bright light that I have hung about 11 feet off the ground in our open shop. I intend to raise it up another foot, but as hot as our summers get I am not sure I want it near the roof. The higher the better the light coverage, but I only need it to cover the main work area to make it easier to work on our tractors.

I like the hanging solution, I just ran a tube across the rafters and slipped this over it.

This UFO was much brighter than anticipated. Overall it's heavy and high quality. The one thing I do not like about it is the top hook. You basically have to get another hook to hang this up and we have many of these UFOs, and all of them come with a normal hook to attach it to the ceiling. Overall, I am still happy with this.

Bought to use in. A 8x10 shed. Paired with a inline switch and it works great. Bright and the hook on top made it easy to hang up

I installed 4 in our driveway. One on each side and two above the upstairs balcony. The whole front of the house is extremely well lit. A month of so ago the street light across from our house went out and that was the motivation for buying these. I am glad I did. I plan to buy two more for the back of the house. They are not motion detection, but rather dusk to dawn. So I used the motion detection Stars for dusk to dawn operation.

Have been using this in a shop setting for about 9 days now. Mounted about 12ft off the floor. Very bright. Will have to see about the longevity but for now it is great. Comes with a built in safety cable and hook. All you have to do is loosen the set screw and thread in the mounting hook the retighten the set screw. Hang and plug in to a standard 120vac outlet.

This is a great shop light. The light was consistent from edge to edge and has a good enough spectrum to not make me sick! Nice and bright, low power consumption too.

I have a 40 foot storage container that has abysmal lighting. I recently installed a couple of lights similar to this one. They did a very good job lighting up a large portion of the 40 foot space but needed this really nice commercial quality UFO style with a buit in plug by CINOTON to complete the project.
Even though the ceiling is most definitely not "high bay", these lights are super bright and put out enough light to illuminate the entire container between the three of them. One thing that is very nice is how thin this unit is, allowing it to be mounted very close to the ceiling. The fact that it is prewired with a plug is a real bonus! Highly recommended!

There’s actually a lot to like about this light. It is made of quality components that will last in an outdoor setting. We mounted this light over a barn door. The area behind the barn wasn’t previously lit so we wanted to discourage pilfering. The light has a very easily adjustable angle and looks nice. It’s not just a flimsy looking “look, he bought the cheapest light he could find” setup. It LOOKS like it cost a lot of money. So from quality aspect it checks the block. From a value for the money aspect, boom, it checks the block. Provides a lot of light? Yep, you guessed it, block checked. All in all, I think this light is very nice and we may end up purchasing a couple more for other areas around the home that need additional lighting.

These lights really change my entire yards!

I have been searching online and in stores for walkway lights to suit my needs. I have only been able to find ones that were too dim, too bulky, or had to be connected to a power supply and permanently affixed to the side of the house. Then I found these. One of the best purchases I’ve made this year!!

These lights are great quality they’re the perfect addition to my back yard. They’re perfect for when I take my doodle potty at night. definitely worth the money. Go and do yourself a favor and get them.
